Job Description
PwC is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic AWS Specialist 2 to join its Cloud Engineering team. The selected candidate will assist with cloud infrastructure operations, application deployments, system monitoring, troubleshooting, and basic automation activities using Amazon Web Services.
This role provides an opportunity to develop practical knowledge of AWS cloud technologies while working alongside experienced professionals. Candidates will also collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to project delivery and operational excellence.
Qualifications & Skills
- B.E., B.Tech, MCA, BCA, B.Sc. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent qualification.
- 0–1 year of experience in cloud technologies or a related field.
- Basic understanding of AWS cloud services.
- Knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, and CloudWatch.
- Understanding of cloud computing fundamentals and networking concepts.
- Familiarity with Linux or Windows operating systems.
- Basic knowledge of Python, Shell scripting, or PowerShell.
- Understanding of monitoring and troubleshooting concepts.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- AWS Cloud Practitioner certification is preferred or willingness to obtain the certification.
- Exposure to Git, Jenkins, Docker, or Terraform is an advantage.
- Internship or academic project experience in cloud technologies is preferred.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist with the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of applications on AWS.
- Support cloud infrastructure management using AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, and CloudWatch.
- Monitor system health, performance, and availability.
- Escalate technical issues to the appropriate teams when required.
- Participate in troubleshooting cloud infrastructure and application-related issues.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project delivery.
